Hi my name is Mary and I have only had 2 (12 ounce) beers all year.  It makes me so sad when I see someone drinking a beer on TV.  I gave up buying beer, which means no drinking beer, for 2 months.   

I do have the groovy red plaid boots though

They will have to pry my coffee cup from my hands

Monday and it's odd being the ONLY moto-shop open for biz (besides Valley Ducati Service) as I can't call to order parts or check on things.

Yes.  The trade off was to make sure I really wanted the boots, would wear them, and I had to give up the $ from elsewhere in our budget to pay for them.  It's ok, I can go 8 weeks without  .

Congrats on the new boots & budgeting, Mary! I came home with a new-to-me pair of black Nocona cowboy boots on Saturday from Goodwill -- nearly new, my size, and $11. Money I really shouldn't have spent, but it doesn't mean quite as long a beer-free interregnum. Enjoy yours too!
