the cover pops off and there is a threaded hole where an eyebolt screws in. Eye bolt should be with the spare tire. Funny that they plan for it.

sorry, I was out ridin' 
the 996 will be doing track duty, but I can't stand to ride it that seldom, so it'll get ridden on the street too. It's not the fastest or most agile bike I've ridden, just the most fun.
