That's good.

What are the long term effects of Parvo?

I just may do that.

I thought maybe the vet had 'educated' you and you'd like to share.

whatever.

Nope, I am on Little Bear duties and she is on vet duties, spoke to her on the phone now and she said the vet told her that their are no long term effects and because we caught it in the first 2 days of the infection the dog should recover completely, she got special tinned spft food that looks like tuna to feed the dog for the next week and then it should go back to normal diet over the next week.
If the virus does not recur within the next 14 days it should be fine.
Funny thing she had her vaccinations just the week before, so I suspect that`s were she picked it up

Interesting.

That's why I try to stay away from doctors offices and hospitals. ;)

Sorry T to hear about your dad, hang in there.  ((hugs))

Quote from: somegirl on January 17, 2010, 07:19:31 PMJust checked and there were technical difficulties so it didn't work out this time (first time we've tried).  I'll try to post up the link in advance next time.

A portion of our concert has been posted. :)  This is the first half of the Strauss piece (Ein Heldenleben).
For anyone familiar with orchestra sections, I'm sitting principal 2nd violin.
Or, just look to the left of the conductor for the violinist in the front with knees showing. ;)
You'll need to see the full screen to make me out, I think.

Need help posting pictures?  Check out the photo FAQ.

Hang in there Knight.  Our thoughts are with you.

[coffee]  is a good thing.  I woke up at 0400 and then waited for the 0530 alarm.

It is nasty out. This is the first storm I'd call bad since being out here.

Now to go walk the dogs in it.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

We had hail for a bit.

Lots of flooding, and I can hear large branches falling.

Nothing as large as a tree yet, but that's a little more worrisome, given their size.

Also, dogs got about ten feet, then insisted we turn around.  [laugh]

I'll have to try again in a bit.

Z does the same thing when he tries to pull off an escape when he's 'underdressed'. ;D
