I've got peeps that do that for me.

How's he doing this morning, LMT?

His respiratory rate is about double his normal.  Has been for the bast few days.  He can not keep up with the saliva, so is drooling.  (major ick with a part St. Bernard)  His chest x-ray came back clear, but the vet says it is hard to get a good film.  He is alert, drinks, eats, and walks.  He is walking very slow, but then he sprints!  I think running feels better on his hips.  He has been off the Rimadyl for 2 months now.  He is also bloated.  His abdominal cavity is distended.  Makes him look fat, but he has lost 5 pounds over the past 2 months while eating 150% more food. 

We are in a wait and see mode.

So sorry to hear, LMT! You've been through a lot with Owen & for him -- good luck with the tough part of waiting and seeing.
