After the condo meeting the other night one old guy told me I spoke well.    Told him I talk all day for a living.  No I need to figure out how to turn talking into a better wage.

off to the hospital again. gotta see what damage my sister did and try to convince my dad to stop trying to get out of bed. for heaven's sake the man was a step from death a week ago and now he's trying to get out of bed and leave the hospital.

when my grandma was in the the hospital after her heart attack, she was intubated, unconcious, etc...  The docs told us she'd probably remain that way for at least 4 more days. Within a couple hours, her eyes were open and she was trying to talk through the tube.  When they took the tube out, the first thing she said was "what the hell does a lady have to do to get some food around here? I'm hungry!"
