Ning guys.  No snow here.  Fog and low 40's.

I work at 1030 today so no alarm.  Woke up at 0700.

[coffee]  and then  [bacon]

Pip I remember the PT test.  Easy, but sad how many would fail.  I helped run the fat boy program in my unit.
Has the weather been normal-ish on your side of the country this winter?

We had the warmest Jan on record.  This time last year we had the worse snow ever!  Got my temp wrong.  It is 31 out right now. That is normal.  We have been getting some sun and mid 50's in the afternoon.  Weird.

Weird here too, it rained every other day this past summer. Global warming, no global warming or whatever, something is out of wack it seems.

Hahaha, I know that weigh in well. When I did my PT test (which I passed with my lowest score ever, 89  [roll] ), they told me I DIDN'T WEIGH ENOUGH... I'm a reservist... I'm one of the few people in my unit who doesn't weight too much, and can finish his run.
at 5' 10" and 125 lbs...

you don't weigh enough.

Want to borrow about 20? ;D

It is unfortunate that the phenomenon was labeled 'global warming'.

Climatic shift would be more appropriate.

Something is very out of whack.

Yeah really, I'm 5' 9" and hover between 150-160 and have never been accused of being portly. At 125 I'd expect you could walk through walls or do other such ghostly things.

global warming feels more like something a marketing team came up with and marketing it indeed is along with the all the "Green" bullshit. I can't complain too much as it directly affects my employment but still has the feel of a "bait and switch" scenario used to push specific agendas and make money while underlying real issues are ignored.

IMO the talking heads can discuss it all they want. There is nothing we can do about it, and it is possible it would have happened regardless of mans manipulation by pollution. Undoubtedly someone will make money off it.

We as a race need to remember we're not as important as we think we are.
