A friend of mine plants his corn in old skidder tires with a bottom put in them.  He picks them up with a fork bucket and puts them in the garage at night to keep the coons out

That is waaaay too much work for some corn.

I think it's more about beating the coons then getting any corn.

I miss seeing wildlife, not too much here in socal.

I have not even seen a racoon in three years.

Coyotes seem to like the sound of a dry clutch though.

probably no more than 40 stalks, in 2 tires.  It's pretty funny.

Driving home late last night I saw a deer with the smallest fawn I've ever seen,(no bigger than an 8 week old puppy with long legs), 2 other deer, a pair of foxes, unknown number of raccoons and somewhere nearby a skunk had let loose.
