If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

the horses are quarter horses.

so named because they are the fastest in the quarter mile so i'm told.
seeing them take off from a standstill is quite impressive.

So you were not at some sort of animal butcher.

I see.

I don't think I've ever had to wait in as many lines at an airport as here in Toronto. :P

After checking in, there was the line to make sure my carry on wasn't too big, then to make sure I have a valid boarding pass, then waited in a line to go to the back of another line to a final 3rd line for immigration. Then a line to turn in my customs card, another to drop off my checked bag, then the standard boarding pass/ID check and security line, where my bag and everything in it including my wallet was hand-searched.
Then I tried to head to the gates only to encounter yet another long-ass line to have my bag and contents completely hand-searched again. Had to turn on my laptop and my ipod.

An hour and a half from check-in to the gate. No chance to go to the bathroom or get anything to drink the whole time, both of which I need to do quite frequently right now.

I bought 3 liters of water and downed the first liter in 5 minutes. Guess I better buy some more.  At least I got my aisle seat this time.

Fun times!

Yay, Air Canada just bumped me up to business class because the flight is full. A little karmic balance, perhaps? :)

Yes, she does look quite suspicious.
All the women 'with child' are the most likely suspects

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
