It's Sunday afternoon, I've just finished breakfast and am now having coffee at the base coffee shop. Ever heard of Green Bean Coffee? It's a company that contracts with the military and puts coffee shops on fwd deployed bases. It's a nice "touch of home." May not be the best coffee in the world, but it's decent and friendly. If you get the chance, I highly suggest you support.

I'm car shopping online. Trying to figure out what I want when I get home. It would be a lot easier if I knew what I want...

But, I think through careful deliberations, I'll get a 1-2 year old Toyota Tacoma 4dr. That seems to fit all my desires except spending more $$$ than I wanted to.

If you poke (get it) around in TOSAT I've reported some of the escapades the medicine has caused. Issues started about 4 weeks ago.

Why is the net so slow in Africa? How do you access?

We've got a few WiFi spots on base. But, it's a small pipe and a lot of users. So, it causes issues. And since we're halfway around the world, it's difficult to find a "good time." During the day is all the random access (like me now) and in the middle of the night when there aren't as many users, it's the skype and video chat crowd.

umm, we don't have daylight savings here. Everyday is bright, hot and sunny. from around 6am until 7pm. Besides, in order to "celebrate" daylight savings, a country needs clocks. The only time standard here is what time does the khat plane land.
