Evening all, no St Patty's day partying for me.  Staying in with the kiddos.  Got leads on what looks like good deals on a Ninja 250 and a Virago 250.  We will see Saturday when I can lay eyes on them.  Both bikes have "never been down"  [roll]

It's a good thing I don't mind bikes that have been down...

it's required for my bikes.

See ya Jim!

Knight:  You mean you don't know any roofers or home-improvement guys?  They always have the small portable compressors...

i know no roofers within 600 miles. and everyone i asked (that has responded) only has a big one that isn't exactly portable.

I don't feel like digging back to find what you're doing now. What do you need a compressor for? I have 3 in varying sizes.

How about an air tank?

Charge it up at the big compressor's location and take it home.

It only has to run the gun for a few seconds.

Unless you leave it on cw rotation and waste all the air making the flywheel nut more tighter ;D

An air tank wouldn't provide the volume to make the air gun go...

I don't necessarily mind as long as the damage is only cosmetic or something I can easily (cheap) fix.  I just find it hard to believe that a 7 year old "beginner" bike with 6k miles has never been down.  I have looked at plenty of other bikes that have "never been down" and have called BS.  I can connect the dots  ;)

well I know my little air tank wouldn't because the hose I have on it is all dry rotted.
