Boy oh boy is it fun to try and guess which wire is which when re-wiring Ducatis!

I've got an '04 SS1000 motor and wiring going into a Monster frame.  All I have for diagrams are a 2003 M1000 and a 2005 S2R800.

YIPPEE!  -and- Aaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!     at the same time.

That is all.

I'm doing all this swapping and re-wiring to include just such a gauge on the Monster.  The next project is an S2R1000 that's getting another MotoGadget and the project after that is an '02 M750 that's also getting a MotoGadget....

So yeah, I think I can do that.

Not to mention the M1000SS which ran a MotoGadget and the SS2R which did as well....

Wasn't quite as dramatic as that. No nuns, pills, or African acid trips.

Did have a Failure to Appear notice for a court date that I shouldn't have had, for a ticket I didn't know about. Was an all around unpleasant experience. Turns out I've been driving on a license that's been suspended since 3 Mar.

All is well though.

I kinda had the same thing happen. My ex worked for the local family support office, and in an attempt to make the beast with two backs with me... got my name mixed into the deadbead dad list, which gets your license suspended....and oops...they forgot to let me know about both. I found out a year later when I went to have my license renewed.

That's a rotten pregnant dog thing to do! Whatever happened to the harpy?

What did getting your license back entail?

The day I found out about it was a shitfest of a day. I was off work with pneumonia and felt just well enough to go down to the dmv to renew my license (it happened to be my b-day as well) When I finally got to a DMV clerk, they told me my license had been suspended  a year or so back. The clerk then tells me I have to go step in  another line to find out why. They next person tells me it it was a state agency the revoked my driving privileges, but he didn't know which one, so he calls over his supervisor and he looks up some stuff and tells me it was the family support people who did it, for failure to pay support.

They then tell me I have to go get a letter from the local family support office saying I'm current with my payments before they can do anything....oh, and by the way, don't drive over there because your license is no good >:(

About 6 hours of yelling later, I have the family support people typing up a "we made a mistake" letter for the DMV. I went back to the DMV and finally got them all on my side [laugh].

About two months later I went back and told the DMV I lost my new license. The picture on the one they took the day I went through all that, made me look like a deathcamp survivor, and I wanted the picture on my ID to look like I was a lil more alive [laugh]
