Ning...  I think I need to take a small hiatus from riding bikes.  Did a 260 mile loop on a bright sunny SoCal day yesterday w/friends on my M900 and barely enjoyed any of it.  My nerves are shot.  I never knew what people meant when they said that...do now.

This too shall pass as there were moments yesterday where I couldn't have imagined anywhere else I would like to be....but when you're approaching a 70mph corner at 35mph covering your brakes and trying like hell NOT to listen to the banshee-screaming inside your head....it's time for a break.

I won't be taking a break from the DMF though...you peeps don't get that lucky.  This place helps keep me level and sane.....-ish.

at least it's a half monday for me! which really is the best news for my today, because the half day is only a result of my dr's appointment.

Loctite?

You think?    Maybe this is me being Naive, but I had never been in the practice of checking to make sure loctite was applied to this spot when the bike was initially assembled. 

I still want another 675 but this is the cheapest way to have a running track bike.

I have quite a few moments when I miss my Daytona as well.  Too bad I wasn't able to keep it, as there will be track days on the horizon after I move.
