I pulled the broken engine from the ss today and started stripping the parts off it that will go on the new engine.

I had to pull the head to see first hand the destruction I wrought. 

I'll post pics in their own thread later, but lets just say I done good.

The intake valve was missing the head :o and the stem was bent all the way to the valve seat :o

The cylinder was cracked in a couple places.  Split from the bottom of the bore all the way to the cooling fins :o

I will save the head and valve head (that I had to fish out from the oil sump with my grabber tool.  They will go on my shelf at the office which is my shrine to the speed god.

These are sacrifices to him.

My baby is a carby, Rich's is injected so the throttle response is much quicker, plus the displacement difference, plus all of that ^^^ stuff in it.
