Well... i tried to quit, but of course our HR Manager who only comes in twice a week doesn't answer his phone.

either way - July 11th i'm outta here!!!

I'm very curious to see what kind of offer they come up with (i'm 90% sure they will).

something else... he hasn't adapted well to technology... an old school photographer, who is now in charge of lighting only... the boss can't justify keeping him around. he's very talented, but i'll admit his involvement in the photo studio hasn't evolved.

guess who has a meeting with my Boss' boss and the HR manager tomorrow to discuss my postion at the company?


apparently they were planning on discussing my position at the company on the first anyway
...or at least that is what he told me after i said the 11th will be my last day

eh, i'm not worried.
it's going to have to be a pretty big pay increase for me to stay
and even then.... it's doubtfull - there is no future at/for this place

new postion =

*waaaay better bennifits that start in 90 days - which happens to be the same time the bennies would kick in here
*closer to home
*company with a great repuation - exactly the opposite of here
*greater chance to move up in company (though i have a feeling they will mention that tomorrow in my meeting).

It's a reference to a good flick I saw this weekend, Eagle Vs. Shark. It's an indie film from New Zealand, I recommend it.
