I don't understand why I can own a gun but not a firecracker.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Spent the better part of yesterday at Golden Gate Park in San Fransisco. Icould not believe that as many trips as I had made  SF that I had never been to this part of the city. Whoknew that downtown SF has Bison. :o

Hey All...

My friend surprised me with tickets to the Hollywood Bowl last night.

L.A. Philharmonic, Vince Gill, and Fireworks...   WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!   ;D

We had pretty good seats.  You could see the Hollywood sign in the center above the dome.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Yep, The Bowl allows small coolers, so we brought with us a cheap jug of Carlo Rossi ( [laugh] ) Chianti, some chips and dips, chicken sammiches, etc..  The wine wasn't half bad considering the source... besides, after the first coupla glasses, you couldn't taste much of it anyway!   ;)

They are cool.

I just started using ours to stream netflix.

Anything we want to watch, whenever we want and as much as we want.

Zero lag.

It's bad ass!

I thought the same thing when I got the Netflix streaming disc.......not as big a selection as I thought it would have.  I miss my premium channels.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I never left home.
Changed the oil in two of the cars.
Cleaned up the yard.
Removed and tossed out a big old cabinet from the kitchen and removed some more old flooring.

I would have been happy staying home.
