Getting there, not completely ready but making progress.   I've definitely slowed down in how much I can get done, but hopefully getting more rest working from home will help.

I had a great time w/Duck-Stew at sushi tonight.  My friend Laura tagged along and between the three of us we destroyed quite a few rolls!

She's getting there.  It will be better when my furniture gets here.  Only so much settling can be done when all you have is a desk and an air mattress...

I know a girl at work who had a total thyroidectomy due to cancer

besides the small fact that she has to have her meds everyday

she described it as a moderately simple procedure and her quality of life was not affected

in fact she says life got 100% better once they got that buggy piece of hardware out of her system
