I got 2 3-hour stretches of sleep last night! :)

Me too!  A new dog is nothing like a new baby, but our sleep patterns have changed.
Rocky moves around a lot and snores. Not up for feedings, but walking. At 0400.  I hope he starts sleeping through the night soon.

I hope you get more sleep soon too!

Stella

I recently read, on the DMF, that dogs/puppies were harder to deal with than babies.

[evil]

;)

Happy to hear that you got more sleep P!

Thanks!

It's funny, dogs used to wake me up at night all the time to be tucked in or go pee, but it hasn't happened once since the baby came.  I think they are too worn out from the nighttime crying.  Sometimes when it's really loud I see Watson lying there with her head under a blanket trying to block it out. [laugh]

M, I hope Rocky settles down soon.

Fresh Pants

After 15 or so years of being a veg+fish+cheese+eggatarian, I've begun my triumphant return to meat.

Funny thing I noticed tonight was that eating meat requires much more chewing than veg, pasta, or fish.
Oww, jaw is sore.  [laugh]

I'm heading back to USAland via Paris tomorrow afternoon, flying Friday morning.
Its been, a long and weird experience these past several weeks.

Mrs. Wedding Pants will be here for a few more weeks.
House is gonna be quiet, since Lola (the cat that apparently can fetch Mexican beers for Stella) doesn't speak very loudly.
Bwooooooahhh
Braaaaaaaappp

Light overall turnout, but they rode.

It stopped late in the day and it looked like they were having fun.

I don't need to be drunk to get a permit and burn stuff.

It's usually more fun.
