<snip>  Dan, ever try electric shears?
If they're anything like the shears for metal, I'd say they'd be more of a PITA than a worn out saw. ;)

Leaves are turning because of the lack of rain!  We've got a few weeks before the leaves start.   ;D  I hope.

That cement siding is dusty!  I'm sure your machines like it?  Dan, ever try electric shears?
I haven't tried the shears.  I know there are better/neater/cleaner ways to cut it but I don't do enough of it to invest in something besides the old worn out Makita    [laugh]

Usually the dust does wonders on the machines bearings.   ???

Have you worked with cement board before?

Ddan

I have.  It's a pretty good alternative to vinyl if you're looking for low maint and it'll last way longer

Good Morning! 0500 here. I have to be up and at it early today for my internship.  Meeting the director in Puyallup at 0715.  We are doing respirator training for city workers.

Good morning - up in NYC for the day.

Ning! Thought I'd check in  :)

Things are good and settling in to normal. The fiancee moved in a couple of months ago. We went and picked up paint for the interior of the house last night. Apparently my daring off-white-based scheme didn't do it for my artist wife  ;D
In other news, I own 3 Ducs. All 3 need work done. The usual  ;D

How goes it?

Happy September 1st!   :)

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...  Sunny, highs in the mid 80's, slight breeze... And I get to [moto] the long way around to work.   [evil]

Have a day!

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

The Porter Cable cement siding shears/nibblers are well worth the investment.  No dust and very precise.  Just don't stick your finger in'em!

The class is done.  I am now home having lunch.  After I take the dog out it is back to work.  This afternoon is at the office and reading code.  Exciting!  Not really, but worth it.

A quick Ning before I head back out to the field!  Being paid to go camping...  Gotta love it!

Stand your ground on the paint.  There is nothing wrong with white.  Goes well with beige carpet!

Of course all bikes need work.  They are, after all, Ducs!

What is #3?

See you all in a couple days.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
