Evening all.  11 days until D Day. Wasn't bothering me for a while. Starting to wear on me now. That is why I am at the bar singing karaoke.  ;D ;D

Dang dog (Grover) managed tonight to get himself trapped between the wall and the co-sleeper (bassinet attached to our bed) while I was putting Marlowe to sleep.  He has no idea how to back up (thankfully Watson knows that trick).  MrI had to get creative to extricate him without waking up the baby.

get this...
our oil company said we were not on their delivery schedule for the day of the spill  ???
they said that maybe the driver went to the wrong house, or
it wasn't them

i never expected them to deny doing it...  :-\
how can we prove it was them?

house still smells like oil, but not as bad.
called insurance co. to see what they can do

oh yeah, the coffee is ready  [coffee]

Call DEP...the driver messed up one way or the other.

Oil companies don't deliver to a customer that isn't theirs. I can see a driver going to a house on the wrong delivery day though.

If it wasnt them...then they wont be sending you a bill for the oil they didnt deliver...   Oil deliveries are not very common where I live, but when the LPG tanker deilvers our gas the driver has to account for the volume supplied...   Soooo.....  if they didnt deliver/spill oil at your address.... then their delivery records for that day will show no shortfall.... and I'm betting they'll have some unaccounted for volume.  If the driver didnt deliver/spill any oil at your address... then what did he do with the "missing" oil??   I believe your insurance company can persue them for these records...  or the EPA???

Ning peeps.  Late night and up early. We went out to dinner at 9:15 PM last night and now I am tired.

TiNi call your district OSHA or state equivalent.  Training seems to be an issue. If it has happened to you, probably has happened to other customers.

That's one of the reasons I have the cameras, if someone screws up I got 'em.

Mainly just gets used to see if I want to go answer the door if someone is knocking.

If they deny going their they will not send a bill.

It is far easier to eat $300 oil bill than get hit for tens of thousands in clean up costs.

They are playing hardball. Play it back call the DEC, PD talk to you neighbors and see if a truck was in the neighborhood.

Neighbors might have video cameras set up on the driveways that might catch a truck going by.
