[clap]

That is an absolutely awesome idea/mental image

[laugh]
It's the way I would've built a castle if I lived back in medieval times.
"Go ahead and breach my outer walls, I dare you!"
Go through a hell of a lot of wood in the furnaces though.  :P

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

petrified may be an advantage over rotted.

Is it overhead?  [evil]
from the side, where the dishroom is, is an old addition. So basically going through what was at one time an outside wall. I did also do a few overhead ones for dropping wires down into the walls.

When I was a wire monkey we did a reno on an early 1900s brick building they turned into apartments.

I spent days drilling 2x, 4x, 6x 12 hemlock to run pipe for each apartment's panel feed. The holes had to be accurate and all of them were overhead. I got to use a hole hawg waaaay more than I wanted.

I feel for you.

At least in my case, I can stop if I want and no one is going to say anything about it.
