So it sounds like there won't be turkey's raised next year...

If we were closer I'd take one off your hands. 

I wouldn't get too drastic.

This year was a cooperative effort and things didn't exactly go as planned.

We had more birds than I planned on...no one ever make the beast with two backsing listens to me...wtf do I know anyway.

My buddy got sick putting us both out of work.

Him being sick kind of put a damper on half the marketing efforts

Next year might be different.

If all goes well we'll be working here building a house, and now that he has seen what's involved it will go smoother.

1)Get a few dozen of the cats and starve them for a week.
2)Put them in a cage match against a turkey.
3) Charge money to view it.
4) Profit!

It was a long week for me. I drove to Portland Sunday afternoon for class and came home Wednesday night. Internship on Thursday and half of today.  I am tired.

Happy too. I started my certificate program in May and am now done. It takes most students at least a year, and 2 for many. I did it in 7 months.  7 months and no Monster.  I am hoping the job hunt pays off. A bike in by future is what I see.

Off to bed now with a book and a beer.  I wish I had on of dps turkeys to eat.

I had some firewood outside that was headed into the barn today.

There's still plenty of time, and trees dry out so quickly with wood heat.

I have a feeling a certain little boy will do a bit of 'pruning' too.

No snow here, but we are waiting for rain. Yesterday's headline was "weekend washed away". Not much yet, but they are calling for over 4 inches downtown.  It is a pineapple express.

Coffee is good every morning, afternoon and night!
