I hope tomorrow is better...

but sometimes things just suck.

I know it wasn't a good day but its almost over and id bet its not the worst day you've ever had.

Bad repeated itself today.  It ranks very near to the top of that bad list. The best friend pointed that out. Just grateful it's a relatively short list.    ;)

As you get older the list gets longer...

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

[There does seem to be a lot of doom and gloom, I wonder if there really is an increase or if it's just the media being itself

well I'm not bothering to go in
only got a little sleep
decided to check on the basement last night around 11 and found a foot and a half of water with both pumps going full bore.
That much means the motor on the boiler is in the water.  [bang]
Killed power to that even though the motor obviously had already tripped and went out to see where the hell the third pump I have is.
It was out in the garage with its hose full of ice and stuck in a puddle of ice.
Got it free with my little heat gun.
Dragged it all into the basement and because of the ice in the hose all I could get out it was a trickle, but knew that means it would eventually be good.

put the hose out the bilko door and went to drain the 40 deg water out my boots.

checked on it a bit later and a nice flow coming from this pump and the water level was dropping very slowly.
checked again at 3am and the motor was now back out of the water
checked again a half hour ago and back down t just a wet floor
reset the motor, turned on the power, crossed my fingers and the boiler started up, smoky as hell but it went.  [thumbsup]
