Opinion please: Am I mad for wanting to buy wheels for a bike I dont yet own (given that I already bought forks for the same bike I dont yet own  [laugh])?

Perfect... ;D

It's 7:13 am...we still have roughly a foot of snow on the ground on the flat with 4' snow banks.

It was 54 yesterday and the same is forecast for today.

Just about time for a spring shitting on. ;)

It's (winter) is definitely on the down side.

Typically we'll get a storm late this month or early-mid April just to remind us that the "mother" is in charge. ;)

I'm sure the people in the southern states are thinking spring.

It's hard when there is still a foot or more of snow on the ground...just sayin'.

I believe the official beginning of spring is in a few days.

I dont doubt it.....  I have a good friend in Sweden, spent a winter at his place.... I dont know how he survives it year afer year.  Once was enough for me.

Sunny again here on Saturday... but no  [moto] for me this weekend..... I gotta play with a smaller petrol engine and get some more firewood rounded up for winter before its too late, as if it already isnt  ;)

We do it because we're stupid. :P

We ran out of wood this year. Things didn't come together.

I'm buying diesel for the oil furnace 5 gallons at a time because I don't want to buy the minimum 150 gallon delivery from the heating oil company.

Yeah, I know all about that  :-[.  My wife has so much faith (based on 25 years of neo-failure no doubt  [laugh]) in my capacity to keep the wood supply up to demand, that this year she's suggesting we install a heat pump.  I'm tempted to surrender.

Heating oil isnt something anybody uses in this part of the world.  Gas (which where we live comes in a truck = expensive) or electric, or play the lumberjack and do-it-myself our our choices.

How bad is it?

Hard to say. Grainy pics. Looks like plastic work, maybe gages and bars.

Non rebuildable title means id have to get a clean frame.

Has termi race system. Not sure what that really means.

Asking $4k. 06 w/ 140 horse engine

I'm tired of messing with wood...really tired...remember...I'm ancient.  ;D We have oil, propane, or electric available, all of which are too expensive for this old lady of a house.

My plan is to heat the new one with propane and solar. My hope is to get the efficiency to the point it won't matter. I will frame a spot in the roof, and put a footing under the slab for a future chimney should the cost of propane and electricity to run the pumps become overbearing. Nothing ever gets any cheaper.
