I did a 21 day no sugar (no fruit either), no wheat, no potato, corn or peas too. Lost 12 pounds. I used to put a little sugar in my coffee, but no more.

The Sunday NY Times magazine had a good article on sugar. Most Americans eat almost 50 pounds a year and 5 gallons of corn syrup.

good luck tini...remember not to beat yourself up when you slip and give into the craving for sugar and carbs.

it's human nature. now try not to think about how much better your coffee would taste with some sugar in it  ;D
