Yeah. It's only about 95 miles from my place. So far, no one I know is going from around here so it looks like I'll be riding by myself.

what's going on tonight? 

went to happy hourS with several coworkers.  the "girl" did not go, which was good because out of nowhere, my parents showed up (they happened to be eating at the same place we were hanging out).  thank GOD i wasnt in the middle of one of my antics at the time, lol.  i was mid-antic if you will  

my dad quietly took care of the bill for all of us... i think there were ten of us?  it was pretty nice of him.

then we shot pool and of course i entertained the crowd with my mad skillz.

just came back from a quick ride... it's warm here today!  totally odd because yesterday was chilly.  we've been having inconsistent weather lately- even for the sf bay area (we're known for our microclimates)...

glad i didnt drink too much last night. some of us did and let's just say it was a little embarrassing to be around them

The paint job's a bit old and needs some preservation. I wouldn't ride it. But, it's pretty cool. Tank would make some nice artwork.

I think I passed Nate, headed in the opposite direction, on the NYS Thruway this afternoon on my way home from VT. 

What color is his new truck?  Did the guy traveling with him have an SV?

I'm home...

The 996 is a beast.

It's very fast and I'm very slow....if it wasn't for it's raw power I would have been embarrassed by a 620. Is this a good idea?

It's the hardest steering bike I've ever ridden...I had issues getting it turned.

I'm sore everywhere.

One agricultural exploration...shiny side still up.

On the plus side...I got used to a bike sliding...front and rear...time for new tires...the front I'll get will help the steering.

I can now say I've gone 150 mph on a motorcycle....and blown the turn.

Things happen very quickly at that speed.

The bike is solid at any speed...if you aren't sliding.

The 4 pad Brembos are very sweet.

Did I mention it's fast?...I think I can get used to it.
