Maybe a meet in the middle - a long weekend to Rushmore later in the year - just not August.

Still snowing in the mountains today, so I am out of here a day later.

Might have to re-route, crash on DDGM's couch, and drink all his beer!

Keep me posted on your Rushmore plans.  Was looking for a reason to go down there this summer.

I'll definitely head down.

Worked out there for a month last fall, and totally was jonesing for my bike.

Yes.

I had a nice bike ride (about 20 miles with some good climbing) and hike (7.5 miles, 1400').
Then I got home and took the dogs out for their afternoon walk/carry.
Just about time for my shower.

it cleared late today but I was already in for the day by then  dr::

should be nice tomorrow, but boat gets wet in the morning and then mother's day stuff in the afternoon...no riding.

I have nothing going on tomorrow, mom is a couple hundred miles away.

Roads are usually empty on Mom's day.

Forecast... cold and rain... Mother Nature is a pregnant dog.

The ride out to my mother's was a bit chilly (high 40's) but it was really nice on the way back (mid 60's).
