Why am I just now finding out that Steve McQueen was in a badass western?

Watching Tom Horn.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

he was in lots of westerns.

He had a tv western series...Wanted...Dead or Alive.

It was awesome.

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

All I can say in my defense:

Someone raised me wrong.  ;D

I've seen the Hitchcock episode "The man from the south" aka "The man from Rio."

I've seen "Papillon," "The Magnificent Seven," "The Great Escape," and "Bullitt," of course.

I've also seen "The Sand Pebbles," with a very young and innocent Candice Bergen. <sketchy eyebrow-raising smiley>

I'm just surprised that that part of his career kinda gets looked over.

Next on the "To Watch" list: "Le Mans," followed by "The Getaway."

I'm only 30, so that's probably a bit before my time.

I pretty much draw the line at "Leon: The Professional," which had a very young and vulnerable Natalie Portman.

Who, by the way, is older than I am, and was older during the filming of that movie than I was the first time I watched it, which makes it totally okay for me to still be attracted to her when I watch it now.

Kinda.

Also: Angela Lansbury had weird cheeks back then, too.

Going to have it tested, though pretty sure it's toast. :-\
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

All sketchiness aside, tell me that isn't the best acting you've seen from a kid in a major motion picture.

Can we attribute it to great direction?  Nothing else she has done has even come close to showing that much talent.
