Ugh. My skull is now an empty shell. I poured everything that was left of my brain onto my calculus final at ass o'clock this morning.

Refill it with alcohol?

Soon.

One more final at 4 this afternoon, and then I get to bring my car back from the dead.

Once that's done, then yes. Boozahol.  [thumbsup]

hey...

Did I mention the trench?

Did I mention things sucking?

Looks dry enough...

The Trench 001 by nh_painter, on Flickr

That light sand will sink you up to the middle of your calf

The Trench 006 by nh_painter, on Flickr

The only reason it isn't full...

The Trench 007 by nh_painter, on Flickr

That pump has been pushing a half hose continuously for over 24 hours...

Good news is the inspector said OK and it's half filled in now.

The next waltz is from the barn to the house with 4 parallel runs.

Yay...more trench.

good things never come easy  :P

This is nasty work.

I'd rather push plywood up onto a roof. ;)

That said...

after buying the materials...

and paying the dirt guy...

and paying someone to wade through the trench with me to help keep the pipe from filling with water and mud...

it's easy to see why an electrical service costs upwards of 5K if an electrician does it.

I enjoy most of the work I'm doing on the house.

This has been the least pleasant...

besides insulating the foundation in the rain.  ;D

I got rid of the tires and wheel that came off an old Bronco...

I save over $12 bucks. 8)

Got shit on by a seagull this morning. Not a good way to start the day. 3 new books from the library made up for it. One on salary negotiation, another on the channel islands German rule from 1940-45, and the final one is the aircraft of the Smithsonian.

[drink] , the fireplace and a book! My afternoon is looking good  [thumbsup]
