Thanks.

How's the house coming?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

It's coming.

Getting ready to start the roof trim. Still have lots to do outside and inside.

Weather is not cooperating and I'm getting a little frustrated. It will all work out.

I resist it by dipping fries in the Frosty and eating them

This sounded like a much better idea than it actually was :P

how is it?

I'll summarize.

I've had better days, and also worse.  I'd call this one ok.

I got a huge package of drawings to quote.  12 month blankets and whatever we get we'll have for years.

Another customer has some easy work for us that would be 2-3 days a week.  Also for probably years.

It's been in the works for a while - we have been trying to buy the building we're in, but I think we may very well have to move somewhere else.

Expensive now, pays dividends as soon as we're in.

With the work that our customers are looking at us to do I dont think we can stay here.  I'll need a second new lathe before the first one is in place and powered.

I'll need more workers too.  So far the DMF has been batting 0's.

Those make the beast with two backsers are all talk [laugh]

So things could be worse.

I got to ride to work today, and your house is awesome.

I'm impressed at what you've done.

Move within a few hours of me(few means 3 not double that  [laugh]) and I could help you on weekends.
I haven't run across a piece of machinery that I couldn't learn to use very well very quickly yet.
I'd even help you for free.

That sounds like a pretty decent day.

It's coming...it needs a roof...and siding...and plumbing...and electrical...and...

It will be good.

Quit your job and move here.

I'd put you on the payroll.
