Reality hit me tonight. My life will be very different very soon. I'm not sure how I will react, and that scares me
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

My dear brother, who has had his battles with his own health over the last couple of years( lymphoma being one of them), lost his wife to a stroke today. She had been suffering from MS for several years and was fully dependent on him for all her needs. In one way I see it as a release for him, the other, the great loss of his "life partner for better or worse". They were a great pair.
Heading down south to be with him soon.

We've had a fire the past few days.

Frosty out this morning, but the fire went out.

Lets all be very quiet OK. Just a little hang over here. Totally worth it.

Brimo, that's tragic.  I offer my condolences.

There's some guy in Mount Horeb WI who seems to be liquidating a pretty nice collection of rare-ish motorcycles.  Yesterday on Craigslist he put up two Laverdas and a Ducati 900SS from the 70s.  Today, he put up a 1999 Laverda and an 1986 Ducati F1B.

I wish I had some cash, he clearly has some good bikes that he is looking to unload.  (No, this isn't me shilling for myself or someone I know.  I just check craigslist compulsively.  I can stop anytime I want.)

And in other news, I'm getting married on Saturday.  (Which may have a little to do with why I have no cash)

Sorry  to hear that brimo.
