I think 3-4 months.

There are methods for sexing earlier, but we'll just wait until the ducks quack and the drakes don't.

So you're waiting for them to hit puberty   ;D

Working on my first cup. I should not drink too much here at home because I have a coffee tasting at a local roaster at 10:00.

I need to do laundry, clean, and then pack for Spokane. It will take about 4 1/5 hours to drive there. Get on I-90 and just keep going! The Jeep has 2 60 AC, so I hope it is not too hot.

Gonna miss my little dog. Hope she does OK.

Cute ducks dp. I love duck eggs  [thumbsup]

isp will have to come visit, modem is  acting up, so is this this not so smart phone ...

I'm switching providers here.

At 6:25pm last night, I get an automated call to confirm my installation appointment for "Monday".  That's right, no time, just Monday.

I didn't even schedule the appointment, it must have been auto-generated by their system when DirecTV sent in the order.

I tried to call to reschedule or at least get a window of time for the appt.

I need to call back between 8A-5P, Monday - Friday.  [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]

You switching from cable to satellite?

I always thought the bandwidth limits on sat internet were pretty restrictive.

No, switching from Comcast to CenturyLink.  DirecTV has a deal with them.  Lower DTV bill, lower cost internet.

I didn't know DTV did cable.

We have no choice on cable providers...there's only one that serves our town.

Footage of a home being saved by fire fighters this week.  Heros whether a structure is saved or not.  They're there.   [bow_down]

Some of the responses I've gotten from cust service or tech support remind me of Lily Tomlin doing 'Ernestine the telephone operator'.

Kind of like...we don't have to perform to any standard...we're the cable company. [bang]

When I lived in Fort Bragg I used the Mendocino Community Network for the interwebs and email. They are a non profit run on the Mendocino High school property. Proffits go back into the school system I think. When I needed tech support I was able to dial a local number 937-1444 and talk to someone I knew. If I had any real difficulty, you could walk into the place and ask questions. Real small town type of place. They don't do cable, but they provide DSL and ISDN, web hosting and of course they still offer dialup, as well as other services. They do a good job. Not that that helps you out....but maybe someone in your town could do something like it.
