Nah...those old timers knew how to build a chimney.

Just got it too hot.

When he's done he should be pining away for the good old days of lath and plaster.

Nothing solid on the interview front as of today, but that could change. I got my suit out to wear to the mock interview session and realized that the pants are now too big. No belt loops. Gain some weight back or get them taken in?

I will try them on again today and go visit the tailor if needed.

I wonder if the fact that it was dark and the guy was out in the street with that thing with no lights or reflectors might have had anything to do with it?

EveNing. [drink]

Came home to see a river of water flowing out the side door of our apt.

Parked and rushed inside, expecting to see a few inches of water everywhere.

Thankfully there were just two large puddles in the lowest spots of the floor.

The bldg maintenance guy already had the situation under control and was squegging out the side room.

No damage to any of our stuff.   [thumbsup]

An hour of cleanup later and you would never have known.

Part of the sprinkler system froze.

I was going to take a nap, but that didn't happen.  Opted for  [drink] instead.

Im glad the building maint. Guy took care of that. When our pipe froze we were out of town and there was a lot of water. My water bill was about $100 normally this time of year its around $6

Oldfisti

No peanut butter here.  Pot roast, gravy, mash taters, corn and toasted ciabatta with garlic-parm-butter.

Take that, Carlos!
