Sorry to hear about your friends DP.   :(

Other than that looks like the rain broke here in Nor-Cal.  One town near Sonoma got 15 inches of rain in three days.  Had the Russian river not been nearly bone dry it would have wiped out the town.  As it is it changed the drought conditions by almost exactly 2%.  We just need ten more storms like the last two days and we will be out of the woods.....

Morning.  Cant see the hills for smoke today.  South-easterly will have pushed smoke to Melbourne by now, which is good.  Coz city folk think the fires go away when it's not inside their TV news anymore.
