Nissan, Honda, Mini, Hertz franchise, but, they've kept this one and a few realty companies that they've merged into one . . .

they now have sold, Nissan, half of Honda cars and 75% of motorcycle ops, re-purchased Mini . . .

so maybe they just want another niche brand under their roof... seems the workers might be safe, since why get rid of the shop boys? that'd be just stupid

:edit: but then, I haven't changed jobs in 13 years, so I don't really know how the real world works anymore

I think it might suck more where Carlos is.

They have no protections.

It does . . . got a call, to go to showroom for a meeting . . . Wages are frozen, no bonuses until ??? . . . They want to add hours to my Saturday . . . They'll "leave the company alone as it is and when it becomes one year old it will then be 'absorbed fully and then and only then wages and bonuses will be reviewed and thawed"

You're right, it sucks more here . . .

I sort of "took a cut in my income" since we had a written agreement regarding bonuses for me . . . 10/5/5% shop, bike sales, apparel/accessories . . . now NUTIN'  . . . since we are barely getting by, according to their bean counters . . . I cannot be given a $175.00 bonus for a, net production of $1750.00 which, just covers my salary or rent of the place

yes it does, thing is, factory knows of this and it seems that as long, one of the 5 people that conform the company stays, they're happy . . . 2 owners, sales monkey, administrative assistant and the grease Gorilla ;D . . . WHO is the one they're happy with? Really I don't know . . .
