Good idea.

That and $7 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

There is a store opening close by on Tuesday that has $1.50 coffee. I hear they make their own biscotti as well 8)

What...

Starbucks isn't good enough for you?

I'm not cool enough to be seen in Starbucks, especially the one and only one we have in town located inside the Safeway. Too much focus on me in that small space.

ducpainter

I think I'd have to travel at least 40 miles round trip.

That would put the cost for a coffee to around $12 including gas.

That's reasonable.

My cup is going to cost you around $1,300 including air fare and misc. expenses.

I can fly to Oregon for less....

it takes a while with the layovers.

Still...

a bit out of my budget.

You will need a rental car too. I think they stopped passenger service at the airport here.
They were charging about $250 just to fly to Portland or San Francisco in a puddle jumper. The next town over about half that cost and they have 737's in an out of there. But you could do Amtrak for about $65 and that stops right down town. Free parking too.

I was always thinking $250 to S.F.? Per person? We can drive down there for $55 in the same car. Or Drive to SAC for $45 and park at my sister in laws house. $250...Pffft. no wonder it wasn't profitable.

Where I live...

this idiot picks up and drops off at the airport...

any time of night or day.

Must be a NH thing.

...actually it happens in LA too.

Special types of idjits.

The one near you. what's it called?

I just found a round trip to Nashville for $394 out of Medford on one of these. Two hour layover in SLC

There are idiots in Oregon that do that sort of thing too.

ducpainter

In that case a rental car serves no purpose and can be eliminated from the cost accounting.
