I have melted a fingernail in a light socket......also had my hand cut open from an Arc plugging in a "safe for 240V" travel adapter for a US colleague (I was nice and went under the desk to plug in)....
Not a fan of burning flesh smell. Especially when it is your own.....

There are hire places with not so extortionate rental rates, but their insurance costs are make the beast with two backsing ridiculous.

morning . . .

brekkie eaten, thinking bout lunch, a friend is coming over and have no idea what to cook . . .

I've got 3 types of halogen bulbs that I want to replace with LEDs; I might simply purchase 3 lots, one of each and re-sell the ones I don't use to make up some money . . . Also want to replace a few fixtures just for fun

Seems like all of the possible weekends are falling through for me.  I can't see me getting a weekend that I can "lock in"..... til... August...
