Yeah, had to take someguy to the airport.  His flight last night was cancelled and he got re-booked on a 6 am flight today.

Yeah, had to take someguy to the airport.  His flight last night was cancelled and he got re-booked on a 6 am flight today.

my mom doesn't live within' driving distance...
in fact, i don't really know where she is these days...
she retired last month, sold her house, and is traveling.

She's about an hour away, by way on at least a semi-interesting road (Rt 209 from Port Jervis, NY to Wurtsboro, NY has a few good corners at least).

Yeah, this was my first (and second) time driving him to the airport.

He's not going far, just down to SoCal to pick up a car and driving back today.

I thought about going back to bed...but I was going to get up early (not this early) anyway as I am going for a bike ride (bicycle) and a hike this morning.  Actually, it's biking to the hike, I'm riding down to meet my friend and I'll leave the bike in her car while we hike.

there are hiking trails across the street from my house, all uphill.
before we lived here, we used to hike these trails and park a car at the trail head across thee street  ;:|
