I'm OK with them coming by before I'm there, or not delivering the package because it won't fit through the mail slot.
They've got regulations and a schedule, I can accept that.
As long as they leave a card that will allow me to pick it up the next day at the local USPS facility.
The non-delivery, and no card, and then the local USPS facility having no idea where the package is two days later, after I wonder WTF happened to it and start checking the tracking number.... that gets me steamed.
