We've had several killing frosts already.

Thankfully the temps are rebounding nicely during the day...so far.

Down to fifty at night and eighty during the day.

I've been trying to explain snow to the boy. I think this winter ill be a road trip to the sierras.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The snow on the car was the recent snowfall...about 6 inches or so...

the rest is a winter's accumulation. The photo was taken in March.

I suspect tossing him in a snowbank may result in me sleeping in one.

When Zip was just a little one...walking...he was all dressed up in his snow suit...hat...boots...

and he had seen snow, but had never walked in it by himself...

we walked out of the house to get into the car...

and he just tipped himself over...face first into a pile of snow.

You should have seen his face...

He still hasn't done that again. ;D

The girl is more likely to ask for it again.

If I'm pushing them both on the swings he says "high enough!" and she says "Go all the way around!".

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
