I got home, walked the dog, then went into my bathroom at home. It was covered in fine black particulate. The remodel construction next door knocked loose a lot of junk from the vent. It needs to be vacuumed out.

I got it all cleaned up. My guess is it will be dirty again when I get home tomorrow  :P

Poly, duct tape, and a work hepa vac are coming home with me.  [laugh]

Edit:  More info - The construction guys were in the hall, so I had them vacuum it up and cover the vent.  All that is left now is to pull out a new toothbrush.

I've been forcing myself to drink a lot more water during the day. 

A lot of it even cold and not coffee flavored. :-\

I have NO water coming out of my hot water taps. Not in the kitchen or bathroom. Landlords says "sorry, that does not make sense". He will look into it the morning. Great. I like to shower before work. I have dishes to wash.

My guess is the water line is connected to the one next door.  [bang]   :P
