Hello  . . .

Actually been awake since 0339h . . . Got out of bed at 0407h ..

Banshee still making my days miserable . . . Clutch is sliping and adjuster has about 2 thread left; owner says it was working fine beforw I disassembled frame . . . as a test, I re-installed OEM clutch lever and seems to be working fine; so, do ebay $24.99 + free shipping look nice and don't work or am I just crazy?

Clutch slipping on a cable operated clutch would be too tight a cable, or worn discs. Lack of adequate cable adjustment to remove free play would cause drag.

If the lever doesn't return correctly, you can't fix it by creating tension with cable adjustment. You need to maintain adequate free play...
