Lucy was fine with it! I took her out before bed at about 0930. Heck, we went out first thing this morning and she went right back to bed. She is maybe 6 going on 7 and has slowed down a little.

Today    Freezing rain, possibly mixed with sleet. High near 33. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime ice accumulation of 0.2 to 0.4 of an inch possible. Total daytime sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

That should keep the 5 or 6 inches we got yesterday from blowing around if it gets windy. ;D

I've been to two school Christmas carols nights (one being my daughter's, the other my place of work) and I laugh about how they often talk about sleigh rides, snow and chestnuts roasting on open fires. Funny.

There's an Aussie version of jingle bells, featuring a rusty Holden ute, the sweltering heat amongst other things particular to Australia this time of year.
