Beautiful, sunny morning here.  Long walk w/the ankle biter, coffee, now figuring out what to tackle first:

â€" work (start the work week kind of work)
â€" grocery store / food prep for the week
â€" finish my Matt Urban book
â€" have more coffee
â€" run / hit the gym
â€" waste time on the interwebs

Well...she had her test and we get results Monday.

No idea, really-she likes to hide whatever is going on.


I mostly just took it easy and read a book this weekend.

It's clearly not a long term plan-the kids don't do well cooped up. I better plan on more weekend trips.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

We usually go for a hike on Sunday afternoons. Not very long...up to 4 miles.

Today we had 15 mph winds, with gusts up to 30+. With all the ice we've had lately, we stayed home.

Widowmakers are appropriately named. :-\

Penny can handle a mile, but not in the cold.

Marlowe is good for 2-3, even in the cold.

I should drag him on Saturday mornings-take the fight out of him.

It was 38 this afternoon. We wear a wool base layer so the sweat doesn't make us cold.

Zeke can out hike both of us. Mostly in speed. We can out distance him. He hasn't heard the story about the young bull and the old bull.  :P

Tried my fan today.

Moves no air, unless I open the windows, then I seem to be able to control the rate.

Sucked all the heat right out  :P

Just playing with it a little before I get to anything important.

I ran it while welding-kept the fumes down-my shop is tiny, so they accumulate easily.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

There have been zero moments this past week â€" the first week of my Dry January â€" where I wanted to have a glass of wine or beer.  (I had my one day that was planned back in Dec. where I knew I'd have a few due to the occasion/event.)

Tonight, however I'm having that moment of need.

Dealing with "mamacita" issues and then the police showed up at a condo next door and pulled out a dead body.

Ummmm....worthy of a beverage right?    ;)    :o    But I'm not. 

But a dead body.... wtf?    (Neighbors don't know anything.)
