That's the thing howie. No enzymes were released. I could breathe fine. The only symptoms, besides the pain which was very short lived, were high blood pressure and low heart rate. I tend to run a little slow anyway, and my blood pressure returned to normal shortly also.

They did all these tests mostly due to family history. I think modern medicine neglects to take into account some pertinent info when they consider family history, mainly huge differences in lifestyle. I also think they have their heads up their asses wrt diet. They're still selling low fat/low sodium. Low sodium is fine. I don't add salt to anything but sweet corn, but this low fat thing is ludicrous. This is what brought us HFCS, now crystallized fructose [to confuse the consumer],and obesity.

I'll stop ranting, yelling at people to get off my lawn, and jousting windmills in a few days. I'll appeal the billing because my total stay , as the facility I went to originally doesn't have a cardiac unit, does meet the requirements for inpatient.

I'm much less cranky today. I actually got a decent nights sleep last night.

There's no place like home. [thumbsup]

Yep, I was in worse shape and went through less.   Modern medicine also means test to avoid law suit.

Couldn't agree with you more about the extreme low salt low fat and fructose nightmare.  No one is going to convince me eating a dessert with fake fat and HFCS washed down with a soft drink with artificial sweetener is healthy.  Somebody I know had to make an emergency trip to Florida when his father suffered a "heart attack".  Final diagnosis?  To low a level of salt.  I just had my half year physical.  Total cholesterol 116, LDL 56.   Proof bacon and butterfat are good for you ;D

Glad to hear you are back home and feeling good [thumbsup]

My cholesterol is higher, but still below 200. My ldl is 101. I refuse to fit myself inside their neat little boxes.

I won't get out alive, but it's not going to be any time soon. ;D

Gad to hear you're home and on the right side of the grass, Nate.

morning

Kid woke me up at the same time. Better than being woken at 3:30 for a blood draw. [thumbsup]

Morning!    Delightfully overcast and cool in "paradise".   Since I'm down to one mtn bike (circa late '90's) with derailleur issues, I'm relegated to domestic duties today instead of riding.

Nursery for some outdoor plants that I can quickly kill and maybe caulk the shower unless I can find some other distraction.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

This whole being a responsible adult is getting old. I should have had more fun when I was younger.

I had to do my own performance at review at work today. The boss was no help. No idea on the bonus situation at the end of the month. My boss said it really all depended on how much the CEO like you.

On the plus side, I did meet the number one goal I set for myself. An L&I (state OSHA) compliance visit with no citation and no penalty.

[beer] time now.
