I need a do over. Woke up at 0200 and was awake for a couple of hours. Then I drifted in and out of sleep till the alarm went off at 0530. Stayed in bed till 6.

Morning.

Down at the cape.

Quieter with my brother gone.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Almost nooning.

So this past weekend B and I went to see my parents to tell them we are getting divorced.   Included in that conversation was me coming out to them as Bi and that I have been seeing an amazing woman for the last couple of months.

I was so anxious that they were going to freak out.  In reality it didn't even seem to really phase them.  My dad said at this point nothing surprises him and my mom said she knew it was coming.  So a complete non event.

The amazing thing is how liberated I feel.  Brian has noticed as change in my demeanor,  and even my coworkers have noticed a change.  They are not privy to as why, frankly, it none of their business.

So to my DMF family, I love you all and the support we give each other.

It's good that you and your fam were able to accomplish that without it turning into a trainwreck.
Kudos to you all.

It's always good to realize you're carrying a piano on your back, it gives you the chance to drop it and move on.
Also allows one to perhaps see other previously invisible pianos.

Carry on with your new lightness!

Gotta be the best version of you that you can be!

In other news, I heard a very interesting lecture from Stella's boss at lunch today.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Been there with the first wife.  My best to you.
