I have a good friend that is traveling there for 28 days by himself. If anything comes up, I would love to be able to find him some local help.

It's New Zealand, nothing ever "comes up" there.  Only dangers are bungy jumping and being trampled to death by sheep.  But, I do have a mate in Papamoa who I could maybe press into being reliable, if the sheep get too vicious.

Good afternoon.

Annual HOA meeting today.  Still a shitshow.  Apparently we had a couple water intrusion events, both due to the recent cold, one of which is related to the ongoing building defect issues.  Otherwise, a useless meeting, as usual.

I'm going to head out to see what kind of protests are happening today.
