Close to 2 hours each way, with a lunch break in Bethel or somewhere close to that.

Just got home. Epic riding day.... Turned into an epic cluster make the beast with two backs. Got a flat tire (some kind of metal staple half in the sidewall and half in the tread, in the middle of nowhere, with no cell service. what a pain! >:(

How'd you get out of that??   I recently got a piece of #8 fence wire in a (newish of course) rear tyre, but was easily pluggable.........

Walked for a bit until I found a gas station that would let me use their phone, and then WIFI (because of course my son doesn't answer the phone for unknown numbers...as trained.) He came and picked me up in his car (because of course i had the keys to my truck in my pocket....) All in all, took me about 4 hours from flat tire to getting the bike home.  :P

The upside is I'm swapping out for 60/40 tires sooner than planned [cheeky]

Made it home about an hour ago. France was very happy to see me even happier to now be on the couch under her blanket.
