I don't really know what day it is or what time it is  [laugh]

I hope to be home on Friday. I'm driving across the country with my bff from college. She flew out to the bay area to meet up and drive back with me.  My MO is to DRIVE. I don't stop to look at sights or eat. We have agreed to do one fun stop each day. Today my pick was the Willa Cather museum in Red Cloud, Nebraska.

Good evening. We are in Champaign, Il. not far from where I did my tech school after basic training in the Air Force. The base was shut down in 1993.

It looks like we have an 11 hour drive to Barb's house, so we may take an extra day and do more fun things along the way.
