Morning all.

Caught up on the latest out here I think.   Family in town for a long weekend so we've been out playing which has been fun.

Also going through seller's remorse seeing my 4Runner leave the garage but going to the sweetest nearly 16 y/o whose uncle (a lux car dealer) bought for her and is going to teach her how to off road when she's not going back/forth to school in the beast.  That makes my heart happy so I'll be fine. Everything's fine!   ;)  [coffee]

Are you replacing the 4-runner with anything?

I did.  Opted for a pre-owned Audi Q5.

Intent was smaller SUV, still under warranty.  The love isn't there for it yet.  The 4Runner was at the turning point of costing quite a bit in unsurprising repairs with 165k miles on it. I overanalyzed for months keeping/selling/buying. Everything and everyone I sourced for input came to a complete draw on what to do so I finally got tired of that nonsense and pulled the buy/sell trigger.

No instant love for the new one like I had w/the 4Runner but it might grow on me.  Took it off road yesterday and the stabilization feature was impressive as was the handling in twisty mountain/canyon roads.

Mornin'.... waiting for parts is painful.  I may need to get back to the hard stuff.  [drink]
I solve my problems like an adult, at the strip club drinking on a work night.

IMO, nice car, but not love inspiring.  If you plan on keeping it beyond warranty, do consider an extended warranty, either from Audi or Geico.  Also find a good independent shop.  German car maintenance and repair costs are why resale on those cars tanked.
