GT PRO..  I've test ridden one and it's lighter and more nimble than my 1260 Multi.  It's also slower of course.  But still not exactly lacking.  @ a mere 5'8" I found it very manageable....  Only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the enthusiastic fork dive under even moderate braking....

Put some heavier springs in it. Tubby  [laugh]

The suspension on the RP is really nice. I think my biggest complaints are 1) Some pretty basic information, such as odometer reading, trip meter, etc... are buried several menus deep. 2) same for the fuel mileage until empty. What good is that information if I have to stop and search for it?? 3) Having to stop the bike and set it to off road mode is a real pain in the ass. What's worse is that if you shut it off (or stall it when you drop it...) you have to set it to off road mode every time.. But the absolute WORST!! are the TPMS sensors. They randomly freak out and tell you a tire has gone from normal pressure to 10 psi. So you pull over, and the sensor changes its mind. So you ignore them...

Still love the bike though! [Dolph]

No more Monster. But my Triumph Tiger 900 RP is wicked fun!

I'm spoiled by the electro-semi-active gadgetry of the Multi.... very little fork dive there....

I would be too.

I've been able to go fairly fast on all the bikes I've owned. Even the ones with non functional compression/rebound adjusters on the forks so I'm not used to all that technology.  [Dolph]

evening

Finished writing my first screenplay.  Got a reading party on the seventeenth with some friends.

Never done anything like this.  Should be fun.

Good morning.

Having my A/C looked at. Had a bit of a hot spell over the weekend and it wasn't cooling. Of course, it seems to be working fine today with the technician here.  [bang]  [bang]  [bang]
